Notes from a neighbor:
“The form asks for your parcel ID and the like, which you can get from the county property records site. It also is broken down into land value, improvement value, etc. My suggestion would be to set the land value as the county has it now and adjust the improvement value so that the total of the two equals the value you believe is appropriate.

I would also attach to this form your supporting material. I included a very friendly letter explaining why I set the value as I did and included my comp information (with details – parcel ID, sale price, sale date, etc.) as well. All that’s required is the form, but I believe showing your research and your reasonable estimate (and being nice) is a lot of incentive for the county to agree with you rather than get themselves into a fight with somebody who is prepared for it.”
