Beauty and Substance

One of my dear friends is a poet. Really, an honest-to-goodness published poet. It kind of thrills me to know that this is still possible in this day and age. Even with the ability to express oneself via blogging and online publishing, true words of beauty are still rare. Some people have that gift, to layer meaning upon meaning, both capturing the essence of an issue, and presenting it in a way that makes us wake up and say “yes!”.
I’m glad to know people who still value this beauty and craftsmanship and appreciation for nuances of language. Thank you Rebecca.
