It was an Inside Job

Watched Inside Job last night, finally.

Even tho I knew most of it and had seen excerpts, it was still absolutely insane to see it all spelled out in one place. The last bit about how conflict-of-interest based academic papers and teachings were corrupting (have corrupted) the entire science of economics was something I’d never really thought about, but it certainly explains how what I learned back in the late 80s was so completely different from what seems to be taught today.

Anyway, it’s a non-partisan film that I think should be required watching for anyone with a bank account or who votes. I know this stuff is harsh and dry and crazy, but unless we understand what happened and why, we can’t change anything.
